Striker, Mario Gomez from Bayern Munich has extended his contract until 2016 with the Bundesliga club.
He told to club’s website “I have always said that FC Bayern are a fantastic club and I am happy here.”
“I see the best sporting prospects here and so I am delighted that the new contract has now been signed. I am convinced that we are going to achieve a lot in the coming years and I want to make my contribution.”
In recent triumphs, Gomez has made a major contribution to Bayern’s with 61 Bundesliga goals in only 88 appearances since 2009, arriving from Stuttgart.
Bayern’s director of sport Christian Nerlinger said “He has become one of the best strikers in Europe in recent years.“
