John Terry to continue as captain

John Terry will continue captaincy for Chelsea, chairman Bruce Buck confirmed.

The former England skipper was suspended by the Football Association for racially abusing QPR defender Anton Ferdinand and fined £220,000 earlier this month.

Bruce Buck said on talkSPORT: “John will continue to be captain of the club. We have taken disciplinary action and we think it is firm disciplinary action and appropriate for the circumstances.”
