Liverpool eyeing £10m swoop for Sevilla’s Kevin Gameiro

Liverpool are lining up a swoop for Sevilla forward Kevin Gameiro, as the Frenchman continuing to sit on the bench for the Spanish outfit, reports the Daily Star.

The 27-year-old, who signed for the La Liga side in 2013 from the French Champions Paris Saint-Germain – has been frustrated for being limited to Europa League and cup games this season. With Colombian striker Carlos Bacca has been occupying the leading role in attack for Sevilla.

However, the report claims that the Reds manager Brendan Rodgers has had his eye on Gameiro for some time to replace the Italian ace Mario Balotelli, who is struggling to make an impact at Anfield with just two cup goals.

Sevilla could demand for around ten million pounds for Gameiro’s services, who still has three years left on his current contract and has scored 17 goals in 45 appearances for the Spanish club.
