Liverpool are reportedly preparing a summer move to sign Paris Saint-Germain left-back Lucas Digne, reports the Daily Star.
The Reds are thought to be close to make a £32m move for Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke, and the recent reports suggests that Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is keen to sign 22-year-old defender once Benteke’s transfer is complete.
The Frenchman, whose current contract is valid until 2018, and it is believed that the left-back could be bought for a fee somewhere in the region of £9m.
The Merseyside giants have already secured the services with the likes of James Milner, Roberto Firmino and Nathaniel Clyne during this transfer window.
Digne joined the French champions two years ago from Lille and has made 14 Ligue 1 starts last term.
