LVG predicts BRIGHT future for Anthony Martial

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has predicted a bright future for the summer signing Anthony Martial, who became the most expensive teenager in football history after joining the Red Devils from Monaco on transfer deadline day for £36m.

The 19-year-old Frenchman has scored three Premier League goals in just two games so far this season. However, Van Gaal claims that Martial’s best years are ahead of him but he does not expect him to maintain his exceptional form.

“He cannot speak English, I speak French to him,” said the Dutch boss, after club’s 3-2 triumph over Southampton on Sunday.

“I need help with that with Fellaini and Schneiderlin. It’s very difficult. He’s willing to learn English. It’s a matter of time, I think.

“But now, first he has to learn English and adapt to the English culture. I have to say he is doing great. Three matches in a row, score three goals. It is one in one — not bad.”

Manchester United’s victory pushed them up to second in the league table, with 13 points putting them just two behind the leaders Manchester City.
