Rumours: Man City eye January move for Juventus defender

Manchester City are reportedly planning to make a January move for Juventus defender Stephan Lichtsteiner, according to the Manchester Evening News.

The Swiss international, whose current contract expires at the end of the season, has been strongly linked with a number of clubs for some time as the 30 year old right-back looks for a possible exit from the Italian champions.

The report claims that the reigning Premier League champions will send scouts for Lichtsteiner in the coming days before making a move for the defender.

Lichtsteiner has been a regular first team, who made more than 100 appearances for the Bianconeri since joining the club in 2011 from Lazio.
