Man United to launch £30m Fabinho bid?

Manchester United have reportedly stepped up their interest in making a £30m bid for AS Monaco right-back Fabinho, according to the Spanish newspaper Marca.

The Red Devils have been consistently linked with a young defender and after weeks of speculation, the Old Trafford outfit are now prepared to bid £30m for the Brazil international.

Fabinho, 22, whose arrival could see Matteo Darmian leave Old Trafford.

Manchester United have already secured their top four targets in the shape of Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Paul Pogba.

United boss Jose Mourinho, who joined the club earlier this summer – knows Fabinho during his time in charge of Real Madrid. Since then, the defender has established himself as Monaco’s first-choice right-back.

Fabinho signed permanently for the French outfit back in 2015, racked up 47 appearances last term.
