Manchester United are reportedly holding out for £52m for the Argentine international, who cost the Premier League giants a British record £59.7m when the playmaker was arrived at the Old Trafford from Real Madrid last summer.
The South American is believed to be unhappy at the Theatre of Dreams and is rumoured to make a switch aways from the Red Devils this summer.
According to the Express, however, the Parisians have offered €60m for the 27-year-old star, which is €15m below United valuation of the player.
Talks between both clubs over a fee are said to be in process, with Ligue 1 outfit manager Laurent Blanc reportedly keen to make the move before the start of August.
