Manchester City want Malaga keeper

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is pondering a £20m summer swoop for the Malaga Goalkeeper Wilfredo Caballero, according to Daily Star.

The Argentine, who has been with Malaga since 2011, is highly regarded by the City chief and it is understood that the Chilean is desperate to bring an experienced competition for Joe Hart who could perform better between the sticks in next season.

The glovesman Caballero has a wealth of experience since 2001, represented Boca Junior in his homeland as well as Elche and Malaga.

The 32-year-old Caballero, who has also been linked with the Spanish champions Barcelona, his contract is running until June 2017 and has a release clause of £20m.
