Manchester United are preparing a £30million summer move for Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas as Louis van Gaal keen to strengthen his midfield squad, according to the Metro.
Fabregas, 27, who joined the La Liga giants from Arsenal in 2011, has scored eight goals in 36 appearances for the club this season.
However, the Catalan giants are now believed to be ready to put him up for sale in the coming months.
This have alerted United new manager Louis van Gaal, who is expected to make an offers of around £30m for the Spain international in order to bolster his weakened Red Devils side for the next season.
It is understood that the Dutchman has been handed a £200m to rebuild his first-team squad in the summer and is thought to be looking for a midfielder and has been linked with a number of targets this summer, sees Fabregas as an ideal option to his squad.
