Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti has put pen to a paper on a new deal with the French champions, that will keep him at the club until 2021, his agent Donato Di Campli has announced.
Verratti, 23, was recently linked with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid, who targeted the Italian after missed out to sign Paul Pogba.
However, Verratti has opted to remain at the Parc des Princes as the midfielder is looking forward to win more honours with the Parisians.
While an official confirmation is yet to be announced, the Italian’s agent confirmed on Twitter that his client has extended his contract.
Di Campli tweeted: “And we arrive at the fourth renewal…. signed until 2021.”
