Nathaniel Clyne will join Man United, says Daily Mirror’s Journalist

The Daily Mirror reporter David McDonnell has made a shocking announcement on MUTV yesterday, he revealed that Southampton’s Nathaniel Clyne will join Manchester United.

The 24-year-old, who has been in rumours to be linked with a move to Red Devils and it was reported earlier by ESPN that the 20-time English champions were going to launch a bid which included Javier Hernandez for the Saints defender.

ESPN also claimed that Clyne is valued at £20 million and the England international is also wanted by the Chelsea.

McDonnell said on MUTV: “What I’m told, it’s a done deal.”

Although, ESPN’s journalist Stewart Robson also agrees with McDonnell that the right-back will be a United player next season.

Clyne has scored two goals in 29 appearances so far this season.

Manchester United are currently sit third in the league table and ready to travel to west London to face league leaders Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
