Arsenal have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Everton star Ross Barkley, according to The Mirror.
The England international will soon enter the final year of his Everton’s contract, with manager Ronald Koeman claimed this week that he might face a battle to tie the highly-rated attacking midfielder down to a new long-term deal.
The Gunners are desperate to add new players to their squad after a disastrous 2016-17 campaign and Barkley has emerged as one of the ideal options to bolster their attacking line.
The 23-year-old’s uncertain future is also believed to have alerted the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea to his availability.
Barkley racked up 30 appearances in all competitions for Toffees this season, scoring five times and provided seven assists.
