Free agent Louis Saha has signed Sunderland on the eve of the new season.
The 34-year-old Saha left Tottenham after scoring just three goals in 12 appearances at the end of last season.
The former France international has also played in English football at Manchester United, Everton, Newcastle and Fulham in more than a decade.
