There is some bad news for Barcelona as midfielder Thiago Alcantara has been ruled out from the next week’s El Clasico due to ligament damage in his right knee. Hence, Thiago will be sidelined for at least eight weeks, The club confirmed on its website.

However there is some good news for Barcelona as midfielder Andres Iniesta is poised to comeback for Tuesday’s Group G match in Lisbon after recovering from a muscle injury.
