Twitter reacts to Bastian Schweinsteiger’s three-match suspension

Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger faces a three-match ban after being charged with violent conduct for elbowing West Ham midfielder Winston Reid in a disappointing 0-0 draw at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The Red Devils manager Louis van Gaal was dealt another huge blow after the veteran midfielder would be on the receiving end of a retrospective ban.

The 31-year-old Germany international signed for Man United from Bayern Munich in the summer, and has appeared in 14 league games this season so far.

Meanwhile, Manchester United fans had a mixed reaction to the news.
