Arsenal and Tottenham Chase Club Brugge Striker Nicolo Tresoldi in £30m Transfer Battle

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly both considering a move for Club Brugge forward Nicolo Tresoldi, with goals a shared concern for the two north London clubs. Italian outlet Tutto Sport claims the 22-year-old is on both sides’ radar after a prolific start to the campaign.

Why Tresoldi Is Attracting Premier League Attention

The German U21 international has netted nine times this term, including a reported Champions League hat-trick against Inter Milan. Transfermarkt values him at £30m, though that figure could climb quickly if he keeps scoring. He is comfortable off either foot, dangerous in the air and clinical inside the box.

Arsenal and Spurs Both Need Goals

Dominic Solanke has struggled with fitness and form at Tottenham, while Viktor Gyokeres has not delivered the output Arsenal expected since his arrival.

Arsenal Hold the Advantage

In my opinion, Arsenal are better placed to win this race. European football will likely weigh heavily on a young striker’s decision, and the Gunners can offer a far stronger pitch than Spurs. With Gyokeres seemingly not central to Mikel Arteta’s thinking and Kai Havertz deputising up front, a January approach would not be a surprise.
