Reports: Chelsea keen on Monaco winger Lucas Ocampos

Premier League club Chelsea are reportedly lining up a swoop for Monaco’s youngster Lucas Ocampos, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.

The 20-year-old winger is looking for a move away from Monaco, after the departures of James Rodriguez and Radamel Falcao, with the west London club keeping an eye on the situation.

The Argentine joined Monaco from River Plate in 2012 for €15 million, and helped the club to won promotion to Ligue 1.

The report claims that Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is keen to bring Ocampos to Stamford Bridge in order to bolster his frontline this winter.

Ocampos has scored 14 goals in 78 appearances for Monaco, who is currently under contract at the Stade Louis II until 2017.
