Chelsea Monitoring Donnarumma as Goalkeeper Search Continues

Chelsea are closely tracking Gianluigi Donnarumma’s situation at Paris Saint-Germain, with the Italian goalkeeper entering the final year of his contract. The Blues remain in the market for a new first-choice shot-stopper, and Donnarumma has emerged as a potential target.

According to L’Équipe, Chelsea are one of several clubs monitoring the 26-year-old, who played a key role in PSG’s treble-winning campaign and was particularly impressive during their Champions League knockout run. Although no exit is currently imminent, the uncertainty surrounding his contract has sparked interest across Europe.

Chelsea’s need for a new goalkeeper became urgent after their failed attempt to sign AC Milan’s Mike Maignan earlier this summer. While they remain interested in Maignan, the club is now exploring alternative options — with Donnarumma near the top of their list.
