Juve Defender on Manchester United’s Radar

Manchester United are reportedly planning a summer move for Juventus centre-back Martin Caceres, according to reports in talkSPORT.

The 32-year-old experienced centre-back Nemanja Vidic is set to leave Manchester United this summer when his contract expires.

The Red Devils manager David Moyes is desperate to reinforce his defence department and the Uruguayan international is a possible replacement option at Old Trafford this summer.

The versatile Caceres is considered as a potential replacement defender with the 26-year-old is likely to be available for around £8m this summer.

Caceres has earned 55 caps at international level but featured only five times for the Bianconeri in Serie A this term, and seems to have an uncertain future in Turin.

Caceres is capable of playing either in full-back or in left-back position, but he is most comfortable in the central defence.
