Milan striker Mario Balotelli on Arsenal radar

Arsenal are reportedly willing to offer Mario Balotelli £180k-a-week in order to secure his signature this summer, according to report from The Metro.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is desperately looking for a new world class striker to his squad ahead of next Premier League season and Balotelli has been emerged as the potential summer target.

Although, the report suggested that the 23-year-old forward is open to a switch after the World Cup, who is currently earns £150,000-a-week at San Siro.

The Italy international has started his career with Italian side Inter Milan and after impressive displays he earned a move to the Premier League club Manchester City. His time in Etihad was a success, scored 30 goals in 80 appearances for the Citizens over the past three years.

Last year in January, Balotelli moved back to Italy with AC Milan, where he has scored 18 goals in 41 games for the club last season.

It is understood that, the Gunners are in need of a world class striker to support Olivier Giroud, who struggled last season. However, Wenger could face stiff competition for Balotelli’s signature, with Monaco also monitoring his availability.
