Premier League champions Manchester City are looking forward to launch a summer bid for Monaco ace Radamel Falcao in order to boost their attack for the 2014/15 campaign, report the Express.
The Colombian superstar, who missed the World Cup campaign because of a knee injury, has joined Monaco from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2013, scoring 9 goals in 17 Ligue 1 appearances for the club.
Its is understood the 28-year-old striker wants to leave Monaco after he had a difficult debut season in Ligue 1, although he has attracted interest from a number of English elite clubs, including Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool.
That means the Citizens may face a stiff competition for his signature from Premier League rivals, But City have identified Falcao as the ideal option for the 2014/15 campaign and ready to bring him at the Etihad with tempting offer.
