Lopez has enjoyed a scintillating start to the 2026/27 campaign, contributing four goals and two assists in just six appearances across all competitions under Hansi Flick. His form has understandably caught the eye of Premier League scouts, with Arsenal and Chelsea both short on creative midfield options following a busy summer window.

Chelsea Hold the Edge Over Arsenal

While interest from both clubs is genuine, Chelsea may find themselves better placed to land the La Masia graduate.
