Arsenal weighing double swoop for Agoume and Kubo

Arsenal could be gearing up for another splash in the transfer market, with reports linking them to Sevilla’s rising star Lucien Agoume and Real Sociedad sensation Takefusa Kubo.

According to journalist Ekrem Konur, the Gunners are plotting a double swoop as Mikel Arteta looks to add more depth and quality to his already star-studded squad.

It’s been a busy year for Arsenal in the market. Known as a fierce ball-winner with excellent distribution, Agoume excels at turning defensive recoveries into attacking transitions—a quality that would fit seamlessly into Arteta’s system.

Kubo: the creative spark

Meanwhile, Takefusa Kubo continues to shine in La Liga as one of Sociedad’s most dangerous attacking outlets. Quick, direct, and unpredictable, the Japanese international is a nightmare for defenders in one-on-one duels. Beyond his wing play, Kubo is versatile enough to slot into an attacking midfield role, where his vision and creativity consistently carve out scoring chances for teammates.

With a contract at Reale Arena running until 2028, prising Kubo away won’t come cheap. His current valuation sits at £26 million, but Sociedad are expected to demand far more for their prized asset.
