Manchester United have reportedly made an initial approach for River Plate goalkeeper Santiago Beltran, with Inter Milan also keen on the 21-year-old. The claim comes from ESPN Argentina journalist Gustavo Yarroch.

Why Man Utd Want Another Goalkeeper

Karl Darlow joined from Leeds United on a free transfer this summer and made his debut in the Carabao Cup third-round tie against Brighton & Hove Albion. The Welshman did not look convincing, and United may want a stronger option to challenge Senne Lammens in the Premier League and Champions League.
