AC Milan midfielder Nigel De Jong has put pen to paper on a new three-year contract with the Italian giants, ended speculation a move to the Premier League outfit Manchester United this summer.
The Netherland international has now committed his stay with Sinisa Mihajlovic’s men until the summer of 2018 by agreeing a new three-year deal, the club confirmed on Twitter.
The 30-year-old was in speculation to join Manchester United last summer, but the midfielder opted to remain at the San Siro.

De Jong has established himself as a key player at the Rossoneri since he joined the Italians back in 2012 from Manchester City, where he won the 2012 Premier League title.
He has made 29 Serie A appearances last season.
