According to Fichajes, Spurs have rekindled their interest in the attacker, whom they tracked before his €25 million move from Borussia Dortmund.

Why Tottenham Are Interested

Ange Postecoglou is actively searching for attacking reinforcements, and Malen’s versatility makes him an intriguing option. The Dutch international can play as a winger or a false nine, offering flexibility across the front line.

However, Malen’s time at Villa Park has been underwhelming so far. In seven appearances under Unai Emery, he has yet to score or assist, raising concerns about whether he can adapt to English football. While it’s too early to judge, Spurs might see an opportunity if Villa decide to cash in quickly.

Will Villa Really Sell?

It’s hard to see Aston Villa cutting ties with Malen so soon unless Tottenham present an irresistible offer. Sporting director Monchi could be open to making a quick profit, but selling a player after just a few months could also be seen as a sign of poor planning.
