Reports: Real Madrid keen on Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has reportedly planning a sensational swoop for the Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling in next summer, reports The Mirror.

The 19-year-old has enjoyed a stellar season, established himself as a key player for both club (Liverpool) and his country (England) after becoming a regular for the Reds last season.

The report claims that the European champions were alerted by the Kop’s failure to secure a new long-term contract with the player.

As a result – Sterling’s excellent performance has been followed closely by the Spanish giants’ coach Ancelotti, who is keen to bring the England international to the Bernbeau next summer.

Sterling has scored 3 goals in 5 Premier league appearances for the club this season, whose current deal expires in 2017 and it is expected that Liverpool to reward his progress with a new deal.
