The Spaniard midfielder Cesc Fabregas has struggled for regular football so far this season under the newly appointed boss Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge, with the 29-year-old limited to just three substitute league appearances so far this term.
The Blues found themselves 2-0 down against Leicester City though with the Foxes heading to their lead in the first half, but thanks to goals from Gary Cahill and Cesar Azpilicueta went to extra-time.
