Man Utd and Arsenal Track £42m Newcastle Winger Bazoumana Touré
Two Premier League Giants Monitor £42m Ivorian
Manchester United and Arsenal are reportedly keeping tabs on Newcastle United winger Bazoumana Touré, according to TEAMtalk. The 20-year-old joined from Hoffenheim this summer after contributing 17 goals and assists in the Bundesliga.

Early Impact at St James’ Park
Touré has played just 160 minutes for Newcastle, yet he has already scored twice in six appearances. His first start brought a goal in the Carabao Cup win over West Bromwich Albion, while his maiden Premier League strike came in the defeat at Leeds United.
Suitors Lining Up
TEAMtalk claims both clubs followed Touré during his time in Germany and have continued monitoring him on Tyneside. United reportedly see him as a good fit for their policy of recruiting young, high-potential players, while Arsenal are said to be weighing up attacking options. Neither has made a formal approach, and Tottenham and Aston Villa are also believed to be interested.
Newcastle Unlikely to Budge
Newcastle consider the winger central to their long-term plans following a sizeable outlay. Any bid would likely need to exceed his £42m Transfermarkt valuation.
Left Wing Could Be His Best Position
Touré has mostly operated on the right this campaign, with Harvey Barnes in strong form. Last season, however, he played largely on the left, registering 12 assists and leading the Bundesliga with 763 sprints.
Why This Transfer May Be Difficult
Touré looks a smart long-term target, and his numbers suggest the left flank suits him best. Still, with Newcastle so protective of their investment, prising him away would be difficult. Interest from several clubs may simply push his price higher.
