Xherdan Shaqiri NOT interested in EPL move

Stoke City may have been in talks with Inter Milan for the services of winger Xherdan Shaqiri, but the Swiss international is not looking for a move to the Premier League this summer, according to The Independent.

The Guardian claimed on Wednesday that Stoke had made contact with the Italians for the 23-year-old star and had agreed on a £12 million fee with Inter for the midfielder, but now it appears that the chances of a deal going ahead are slim.

It is believed that the midfielder wants to remain with Roberto Mancini’s side and doesn’t want to leave the Italians for the Premier League this summer.

Shaqiri has scored three goals in 20 appearances for Inter since his January arrival.
